A little about me...

I was born and raised in the Seattle area, and I have been pursuing acting professionally since 2005. My passion started at the age of 5, when my mother put me in my first beauty pageant. Just two weeks before the pageant, I lost my two front teeth, but I still chose to compete anyway. When asked what I wanted to be when I grow up, not being afraid of the enormous crowd in front of me, I announced with a huge grin (missing my two front teeth): an actress, singer and a model. Realizing I was serious; my mom put me into acting, modeling and dance classes. I honed in on my passion even more, and decided to go straight for acting, mesmerized with the people I saw on television and in the movies. I was taken on by an agent in Seattle when I was 12. I went on several auditions, booked a few commercials (they sadly all fell through), a gig on Lifetime and started to do community theater. After graduating from high school in 2000, I continued community theater, I booked a game show, and I was in several feature films, but I realized I wanted more than that; I wanted to live and breathe Hollywood. In 2002, I started looking into acting colleges and at the end of that year I auditioned for and was accepted into the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. In 2003, I left for Hollywood where I studied acting at AADA and graduated in 2005. In October 2006, I moved back to Seattle where I starred in several independent feature and short films such as The Bicyclists , The Taken, Forecast, Sarah Jane Road, Angels on a Bullet, Chemistry, Skirt Chaser, and Eyes In the Dark, as well as two radio voice over ads for Starbucks Coffee Company and a guest starring role on Botswana, USA (web series). In March of 2007 I started a production company with two fellow AADA graduates, called Inspireworks, LLC. We produced our first feature film, Shaniko which I starred in, produced and edited. Post production on Shaniko finished in early 2008 and won two awards at the Washougal International Film Festival. I also co-stared in a hit web series called The Bicyclist, about the Portland bike culture, where I played Lissa Valentine. Craftmaster Productions (the producers of The Bicyclist) wrapped filming on the feature film, The Bicyclists (spun off of the hit web series) in the summer of 2008, which I continued to play my co-starring role of Lissa Valentine. The Bicyclists, since its premiere in Portland, Oregon in April of 2009 has received many great reviews and has shown all over the Portland area and the Seattle area, with a DVD release in July 2009. The Bicyclists took home Best of the Festival for the Columbia Gorge International Film Festival in August 2010!In June 2011 I placed top 5 with Break Through Star which was an acting competition put on through Diverse Talent Agency (one of LA's top 10 agencies)!I am currently on a small break in San Diego, CA where I am still taking classes and building my headshot portfolio. I am looking forward to what the future has to offer. I plan on moving back to Los Angeles in the spring of 2013 to focus on my passion. Thank you for all your support!

She is after all a founding member of The World Bikini Football League, a sensual mix of the rough and racy as girls flaunt their curves while competing on opposing teams. Melissa herself is a sure-fire turn on with her gorgeous toned body and sunny personality. One of the most lovable performers you can ever hope to meet, shes quickly becoming the face of indie thrillers especially since shes a big part of the mysterious found footage slasher Eyes In The Dark.

Ive already had people telling me that BIKINI football is a tad sexist but in my opinion i think its fascinating and it shows women can do anything they aspire to. All the girls really do work hard to be on top of their game. For now, i cant wait for Melissas horror movie The Taken to be released soon i think, watch here: The Taken Trailer. Another splatterfest in the vein of Saw and Hostel.tortureporn at its best and Melissas well on her way to be the newest scream queen!
